Chef Kelly's affinity for vintage oyster cans precipitated the remake of one of his favorites from the Virginia Canning Co. With respect, I redrew the can and extracted the oyster illustration to use as our own ‘obligatory oyster bar oyster illustration’ because how would you know you were at an oyster bar if there weren’t an oyster illustration to remind you of what oysters look like?
Upstairs hand-painted signage on the top stair riser signals an entrance into the Captain's Quarters where the interior departs from bright white, black, and navy to a more cozy feel, embracing the existing stucco and wood paneling.
